Introduction

The Mid Western Division HQ is situated in Surkhet with its AOR being the entire Mid Western Development Region. The Area of Responsibility of this Division is 42,378 sq km. There are a total of 15 Districts under this Division. The population of the AOR is 30,12,975 and the literacy rate is 49.1 %.
