NAIHS

NAIHS is the non-profit organisation run by the Nepali Army Welfare Fund. It is established with the aim to produce the quality and skilled health personnel and make it the best college in the country. It also aims to enhance the health services given by the Birendra Military Hospital and also provide the service to the general public.

The main administrative block of NAIHS is located at Sano Bharayang, Bhandarkhal, Kathmandu with the area of 113 ropanis. There are presently the College of Medicine at Bhandarkhal and College of Nursing at Mahankalsthan under NAIHS. It also plans to further enhance with the establishment of College of Medical Polytechnic and College of Dental Surgery in the recent future. It aims to produce skilled health personnels for Nepal and NA and provide quality health service to the public also.

NAIHS is the organisation funded by the NA Welfare Fund and will provide free health services to serving and retired Army Personnel along with their families.

NAIHS is established to produce highly skilled manpower in the health sector and provide health service to the army personnel. It also aims to provide quality education to the NA personnel’s children and the general public in the effective manner.

The institute will constitute the College of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of PolyTechnic and College of Dental Surgery. The details of the colleges under the NAIHS is enlisted in the table below:
