Regional Level United Peacekeeping Operations Contingent Commander Course Held

1. Regional Level United Peacekeeping Operations Contingent Commander Course (PKOCC) conducted by Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) on the auspices of United States Pacific Command at Yak and Yeti Hotel ended on December 16, 2010. 2. Chief of General Staff (CGS) of Nepalese Army formally declared the end of the course which had commenced from December 5, 2010 at an event organized at Yak and Yeti Hotel. CGS hopefully expressed that the knowledge gained by the trainees during the course would be directed towards international peace and security. CGS congratulated all trainees for the successful completion of the course and also handed over the certificate of graduation and token of remembrance. 3. The course was conducted by 6 Subject Matter Experts of GPOI. 13 foreign officers from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Malaysia, Magnolia, Philippines, Thailand and 17 officers from Nepalese Army had participated the training.
