Ser No. 23 Command and Staff Course commences

CGS Lt Gen Baldev Raj Mahat inaugurated the Ser No 23 Command & Staff Course amid a special function at Army Command & Staff College (ACSC), Tokha, Kathmandu on April 18, 2016.

A total of 54 student officers including 39 Majors and 3 Captains from Nepalese Army, 1 Section Officer from Defence Ministry, 1 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from Nepal Police, 2 DSPs from Armed Police Force, 1 Chief Investigation Officer from National Investigation Department and 7 foreign officers are taking part in the course.

CGS Lt Gen Mahat congratulated the student officers and anticipated the nine month training will enhance the professional skills to understand the complex nature of the security environment. Earlier, Commandant of the ACSC Maj Gen Jagadish Chandra Pokharel welcomed the student officers in the course.

Present on the occasion were Vice-Chancellor of TU, Ambassadors, senior professors, serving Generals, former Commandants of the college, Chiefs of other Security Organizations, residential Defense Attachés and families of the student officers.
