 Zambia Army Commander Calls on COAS

The visiting Lieutenant General Paul Mihova, DFS psc plsc PM, Commander of Zambia Army, calls on his Nepali counterpart, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Rajendra Chhetri at latter's office at Army headquarters, Bhadrakali on January 04, 2018. During the meeting various issues of bilateral interests were discussed. Upon his arrival at the Army Headquarters, Lt Gen Mihova was accorded a Guard of Honor from a troop of Nepali Army. Earlier today, Lt Gen Mihova laid a wreath on the "Veer Smarak" at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel.

Lt Gen Mihova arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday, January 03, 2018 on an official invitation from COAS General Rajendra Chhetri. The Zambia Army Commander was received by the Director General of Military Intelligence (DGMI) Maj Gen Jagadish Chandra Pokharel at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Later today Lt Gen Mihova will attend a Cultural Night organised by Nepali Army Wives Association (NAWA) at Auditorium Hall, followed by a banquet hosted by the COAS Gen Chhetri.

During his stay in Nepal, Lt Gen Mihova is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Right Honourable President Mrs Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Right Honourable Prime Minister Mr Sher Bahadur Deuba and Honourable Minister of Defence Mr Bhimsen Das Pradhan in separate meetings.

Ending his visit, Lt Gen Mihova will return home on Tuesday, January 09, 2018.
