Chief of Defence Forces of Thai Armed Forces Calls on COAS

General Tarnchaiyan Srisuwan, Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces, called on Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Rajendra Chhetri at Army Headquarters, Bhadrakali on May 02, 2018. During the meeting, various issues of mutual and bilateral interests were discussed. Upon his arrival at the Army Headquarters, General Srisuwan was accorded a Guard of Honor from a troop of Nepali Army. Earlier today, General Srisuwan laid a wreath on the "Veer Smarak" at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel.

Later today General Srisuwan will attend a Cultural Night at Auditorium Hall, followed by a banquet hosted by the COAS Gen Chhetri.

During his stay in Nepal, General Srisuwan is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Right Honourable President Mrs. Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Right Honourable Prime Minister Mr. KP Sharma Oli and Honourable Minister of Defence Mr. Ishwar Pokhrel in separate meetings.

The visiting dignitary arrived in Kathmandu today, May 02, 2018, at an official invitation extended by COAS General Chhetri. He was received by Lieutenant General Purna Chandra Thapa, Chief of General Staff (CGS) Nepali Army, at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Ending his visit, General Srisuwan will return home on Saturday, May 05, 2018.
