The 'Nepal-US 1st Land Forces Talk (LFT),' a two-day workshop, between Nepali Army (NA) and United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) commenced at Nepali Army Headquarters on Wednesday (June 06, 2018).

19 personnel from NA led by Major General Jagadish Chandra Pokharel and 17 personnel from USARPAC led by Major General Roger J. Noble are participating in the workshop. The workshop will focus on Nepal-Us Joint Military Vision Statement, Proposed Activities & Priorities and Peacekeeping Operation (PKO), HARD/DREE Events among others.

On the sideline of the 'Land Forces Talk', Major General Roger J. Noble, US Head of Delegation called on Acting Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Purna Chandra Thapa at Nepali Army Headquarters on June 06, 2018.

The visiting delegates are scheduled to visit Army Command and Staff College (ACSC) and Valley Division Headquarters.
