Nepali Army's Athlete WO1 Hari Kumar Rimal bagged the title of "13th Safal Pokhara International Marathon" organized at Pokhara Stadium on February 19, 2019. He completed the race clocking 2 hours 40 minutes and 10 seconds. WO2 Purna Tamang received consolation prize completing the race at 2 hours 42 minutes and 55 seconds.

Similarly, L/Cpl Ramji Basnet, Pte Rajan Rokaya and Pte Shiva Bahadur Rayamajhi won gold, silver and bronze medal respectively in the event of 10 km (Male). Likewise, Cpl Sarita Basi won bronze medal in 10 km (Female).
