The Intensive Mobile Health Camp jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Population and the Nepali Army, targeting the locals of Siraha, Sindhuli, Mahottari, Sarlahi, and Dhanusha Districts concluded on December 22, 2019. Honorable Mr. Lalbabu Rawat, the Chief Minister of No. 2 Province, concluded the Health Camp amidst a ceremony organized in Mahottari.
Altogether, 34,172 people received free health checkups and medicine during the health camp that started on December 15, 2019, with an aim to provide medical facilities to the needy people. A total of 329 surgeries were also conducted successfully in the week-long camp.
The medical facilities related to general medicine, gynecology, eyes, nose and ear, throat, skin disease, orthopedic, respiratory ailments, mental health, hernia, and hydrocele were provided during the camp. The locals of Siraha, Sindhuli, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dhanusha Districts, and its adjoining areas that lack access to the basic medical facilities, were benefited from the mobile health camp.
