The visiting General Aziz Ahmed, BSP, BGBM, PBGM, BGBMS, psc, Chief of Army Staff (CAS) Bangladesh Army, concluded his Nepal Visit and returned on Tuesday (February 11, 2020). Major General Nirmal Kumar Thapa bade farewell to General Ahmed and his entourages at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

During his five-day stay in Nepal, the visiting dignitary paid a courtesy call on Right Honorable President, Right Honorable Prime Minister and Honorable Deputy Prime Minister & Minister for Defence in separate meetings. Likewise, he also met his Nepali counterpart, COAS General Purna Chandra Thapa. Similarly, Gen Ahmed also visited various military installations, historical and tourist sites including Pokhara.

General Ahmed arrived in Kathmandu on February 07, 2020, upon an official invitation extended by Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Purna Chandra Thapa.
